The Spayka Limited Liability Company was founded in 2001. At present Spayka is a first-rate international freight forwarding company in Armenia, and is offering international freight forwarding to the CIS and EU countries. Through cooperation with world-renowned leaders in motor transport and implementation of state of the art control systems, the company provides international transportation with its own fleet, delivering "door to door" all kinds of freight from perishables to out-of-gauge loads of special purpose.
Having professionally ventured into the market of exporting fresh fruits and vegetables a year and a half ago, Spayka has won recognition as number one exporter in the country enjoying the confidence of both domestic farmers and Russian wholesalers, as well as, the retail networks that cooperate with us. This year 13,000 tons of fresh fruits and vegetables have been exported, considering the force majeur conditions of slumping harvest in the country and in the world. The success of the company has not gone unnoticed and, owing to its competent and well-weighted actions as well as long-term plans, Spayka became one of the strategic partners of the RA Government, getting involved in stimulating the country’s agricultural development. As a result, the company accessed concessional financing (100 mln. euros) for a large-scale hothouse project covering over 100 hectares.
Through 2011 we plan to supply about 24,000 tons of fresh vegetables and 30,000 tons of fresh fruits to Russia. Starting July 1st this year we shall harvest our own 13 names of fruits and vegetables, and process 15 types of juices with desserts; and from August 1st we will be prepared to supply a product range of 15 types of pickles and preserves. Cumulatively, this year we shall have 43 item names of our own production, including all-year-round greenhouse products.
Packaging is another core activity of Spayka: at the moment we are producing boxes and pallets from polystyrene foam that are very presentable, comply with all international standards and health requirements and are made by cutting edge German technology. In the near future the line of packaging products will be diversified as well; new ingenious solutions for containers, labels and packages are in the pipeline.
Spayka continually improves its business processes and expands the services offered, aiming to establish long-term cooperation with industrial and commercial companies. At all the stages ofcooperation we provide an individual service to each of our clients taking as a base the priorities of each oragnization thus helping our clients to maintain their competitive advantage in the market.
